Thomas "Tommy" Edward Seabolt

September 11, 1959 - May 25, 2022

Thomas Edward Seabolt, 62, went home to be with the Lord, May 25th, 2022. Tommy was born September 11, 1959, in Greensboro to the late Robert Clinton Seabolt and Mary Evelyn Seabolt. His life will best be remembered by the encouragement and friendship he brought to those around him. Tommy spent the last ten years of his life as a servant of the Lord and considered it an honor and privilege to study God’s word and to teach others about him. One of his greatest joys was teaching the Sunday School class at Lawndale Baptist Church where he was a member. He spent most of his time investing in people and lifting them up. He had his eyes on eternity and is now enjoying the presence of Jesus Christ whom he loved so much. Tommy will be missed by so many. He is survived by his sons Tommy Seabolt II and wife Emily, Ricky Seabolt and wife Danielle, grandchildren Alice, Ruth, Betsy, John Henry, Jack, Max, and Nellie, sister Evelyn “Sug” West (Doug), and Brother David (Peggy), and may extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be held Tuesday May 31st at 6:00 PM at Lawndale Baptist Church with visitation immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lawndale Baptist Church at 3505 Lawndale Dr, Greensboro, NC 27408. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
