Stephen "Steve" Wayne Staley Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

In Loving Memory of Stephen “Steve” Wayne Staley, age 63, of Arvada, Colorado went to his eternal Heavenly home January 11, 2022, after a short battle with Brain Cancer. He passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones. Born August 8, 1958, in Greensboro to Donald Staley, and Mildred Ring Staley, Steve is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years, Patty Suich Staley, his loving parents Donald & Mildred, sisters; Kathy and Robin. Nieces; Jennifer and Jaylynne. Nephews; Christopher, Tyler, Zachary, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and in laws. Steve was a deeply, spiritual man, and a highly respected businessman, starting his own HVAC Company, Staley Heating & Air, which he operated for decades before retiring. He then purchased and renovated his dream vacation home in Ocean Isle Beach, NC where he spent a lot of his time. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed boating, fishing, & camping. Steve was a pillar of his community, and an amazing friend to many. He was known for his integrity, honor, and desire to help others, but most proud of his 35 years of sobriety and was passionate about sharing the message with others and helping others in their own journey. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 5th, 2022, at 1pm, and a visitation held one hour prior to the service, at Forbis & Dick Pleasant Garden Chapel located at 4601 Pleasant Garden Road, Pleasant Garden, NC 27313, with a reception following at the home of his niece Jennifer.
