Ronald Lamont Charity

January 6, 1967 - May 20, 2022

Ronald Lamont Charity, 55, of Greensboro, NC, Passed away Friday May 20, 2022 at Carolina Pines Nursing Facility after a bad Car accident on mother's day 2022. His sudden passing was a result of his injuries. Ronald was born January 16, 1967 in Youngstown, Ohio the second son to Kenneth and Patricia Stewart Charity . Ron was a 1984 Graduate Of Woodrow Wilson High School in Youngstown, OHIO. He retired from St. Elizabeth Medical center in 2016 after many years of service in the Environmental Service dept. He was a devoted servant of Christ and was an avid church going. He loved to help others and enjoyed working with the youth within every church that he called home. To all that knew him they always called him the Gentle Giant. He was a tall big guy with a big heart and would do anything for anyone. He also loved Elvis and WWE wresting. He church family at Bridge of Hope in Greensboro, NC that loved him and Victory Christian Center in Youngstown, Ohio Ron moved to Greensboro, NC in April of 2017 and enjoyed his life there with his family. He leaves to mourn his sudden passing his mother Patricia Charity of Greensboro, NC and his sister Clara Charity and his niece Brandice Brooks of Greensboro, NC, His other two nieces Amber and Corey Scott of Youngstown, Oh and his older brother Kenneth Charity Jr also of Youngstown, Oh. His three great nephews whom he adored, William Jr, Mason and Daryl Jr all of Youngstown, Oh. His Aunts: Liz Stewart Gordon of Winston-Salem, NC and Laura Charity of Youngstown, Ohio. Ron also leaves many cousins and church family members who will miss him dearly. Ron is preceded in death by his father: Kenneth R. Charity sr. His grandparents Burl and Collin Washington Charity, and Jane Taylor and Peter Rodriguez, many other family members, aunts, uncles and cousins.
