Robert Newton Wolfe

September 8, 1957 - January 22, 2022

McLeansville—Robert “ Bobby” Newton Wolfe 64, entered eternal rest Saturday, January 22, 2022, while at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Robert was born in Reidsville to the late Robert Bassel and Ferol Patricia McInturff Wolfe. He graduated high school, then entered the U.S. Army. He worked for a brief time at the airlines and then worked in sales for T&T Sports in SC. Robert is survived by two sisters: Dianne Chilton of McLeansville and Karen Goergen and husband Happy of Julian. Several nieces and nephews; Emily Chilton, James Chilton and wife Lyndsey, Emil Goergen IV and wife Alesha, John Goergen, Logan Chilton, Emil Goergen V, and Emersyn Goergen. A celebration of life service will be conducted Saturday, January 29, 2022, 3:00 PM at Mt Pleasant United Methodist Church, 5120 Burlington Rd., Greensboro, NC with Rev. Andrew Brown officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Mt Pleasant United Methodist Church or to the Jared Austin & Children’s Fund.
