Mr. Randall Douglas ‘Randy’ Mills, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Stokesdale United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Ed McKinney officiating. Pandemic guidelines will be observed to include face masks and social distancing. Friends are invited to pay their respects at Forbis & Dick – Stokesdale between 1 and 6 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The family will not be present. A native of Guilford County, Randy was born on November 1, 1963 the son of Albert Douglas Mills and Bonnie Preston Mills. He was a member of Stokesdale United Methodist Church and a graduate of Northwest Guilford High School Class of ’82. He enjoyed working in construction, but in his spare time he could be found fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother Brad Mills, and sister Bonita Beshears. Surviving are his mother Bonnie P. Mills of Stokesdale; a son Dillon Mills (Nicole Jarvis) of Walnut Cove; granddaughter Ashlee Rae Mills; sister Lisa Joyce and brother Robert Honeycutt both of Oak Ridge; sister-in-law Tonia Mills and brother-in-law Greg Beshears both of Oak Ridge; aunt and uncle Dianne and Bill Preddy and their family; nieces and nephews Kristin Joyce (Josh Stanley), Jacob Joyce (Emma Martinez), Megan Joyce, Alexis Beshears, Luke Beshears, Mason Mills and Blake Mills; and 2 great nephews Corbin Stanley and Camden Stanley. Memorial donations may be made to Stokesdale United Methodist Church, PO Box 38, Stokesdale, NC 27357 or the charity of the donor’s choice. Forbis & Dick – Stokesdale is serving the Mills family.
