Otelia Linville Glosson

August 13, 1942 - March 11, 2022

Mrs. Otelia Linville Glosson, 79, passed away Friday evening, March 11, 2022. Mrs. Glosson was born in Rockingham County on August 13, 1942, the daughter of the late Lawrence Otho Linville, Sr. and Gladys Hawkins Linville. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Glencoe United Methodist Church and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Carlton Linville and Lawrence O. ‘Junior’ Linville and sisters Betty Price, Doris Carroll, and Jackie Abercrombie. Surviving are 3 children Donald Knight and his wife, Anita of Summerfield, Pam Puller and her husband, Shane of Virginia, and Pat Knight and his wife, Lydia of Reidsville; 6 grandchildren Keith Knight, Diane Cannon, David Knight, Tim Puller, J. R. Duncan, and Troy Duncan; 9 great grandchildren. On Tuesday, March 15 at 2 p.m. a graveside committal service will be held at Glencoe United Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Matthew T. Johnson officiating. A celebration of life service will follow in the church sanctuary. The family will greet friends in the church fellowship hall following the service and other times at Donald and Anita’s home. In lieu of flowers, Otelia would be delighted if memorial donations were made to Glencoe United Methodist Church, 601 Glencoe Church Loop, Summerfield, NC 27358. Forbis & Dick – Stokesdale is serving the family.
