Myrtle M. Yarborough Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Myrtle M. Yarborough passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 94. There will be a graveside service honoring her life at Lakeview Memorial Park at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, with visitation following the service. The service will be available by livestreaming on Facebook. Myrtle was born on August 9,1927 in Guilford County to the late Charles Frank Manley and Elizabeth Jarrell Manley. She was a lifelong resident of Greensboro and graduated from Greensboro Senior High (now Grimsley). She was employed with Sears, Roebuck and Company for over 42 years as an inspector. Myrtle enjoyed traveling and being with her family. She is predeceased by her parents, her loving husband of 50 years, Spencer Yarborough and siblings Ruth Shirley, Ralph Moser and Katherine Clark. Myrtle is survived by her children, Terry Yarborough, Richard Yarborough (Jill), and Sarah Pitts (Wes), grandchildren Adam Yarborough, Daniel Yarborough (Carly), Dustin Yarborough (Bailey), great grandson Easton Yarborough and her cherished pet Lucy, The family is thankful to her caregivers, Merri Laizure, Renne Smith, Melanie Fuquay and Mary Skeen. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to AuthoraCare of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC 27405. Forbis and Dick North Elm Chapel is assisting the Yarborough family.
