Michael Stephen Love

February 18, 1955 - June 15, 2022

Our family is saddened to announce that Michael Stephen Love, 67, of Greensboro, NC, peacefully went to be with our Lord on Jun 15th, 2022, surrounded by family and loved ones, from an ongoing illness. A 2:00 p.m. memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2002 at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel. Mike was born on February 18, 1955. He is survived by his wife, Susan Love, son, Grant Love and sister, Barbara Dennis. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Love, his mother, Albertine Love, and brother, Harold Love. A lifelong resident of Greensboro, NC, Mike graduated from Smith High School. He worked at Cone Mills for most of his career before ultimately retiring from Loomis Fargo. After retirement, Mike pursued his hobbies of photography, classic television trivia, and vintage truck restoration. Mike and Susan also spent their time traveling and visited Hungary, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and France during their adventures. Mike lived his life with integrity, honesty, sincerity and was the first to answer a call for help. His positive outlook on life was infectious, always sharing an uplifting story with those around him. He treated everyone the way that he would like to be treated; truly a person to emulate. Mike will be greatly missed.
