Mark Steven Woodham, 62, of Greensboro North Carolina passed away June 17th, 2022. Steve is survived by his two siblings Pamela Mckeel and Joyce Elaine Woodham, as well as his daughter Sommer Woodham. Steve was born in Aiken, South Carolina and he attended Lugoff-Elgin High School in Lugoff, South Carolina. After graduating college in Columbia South Carolina he began broadcasting school and his career as a DJ. He then moved to Florence, South Carolina and reported news at a local station. After his career in news and TV he moved onto Greensboro North Carolina to be closer to his daughter and began his business Dude Marketing. Steve was always doing what he could for others and enjoyed giving back to the people he loved. His favorite hobbies included his love of music, gaming, fishing, photography, cooking, and golf. In his later years Steve rescued his wonderful pet Starla from the Burlington animal shelter and loved her like his own child. Steve had a very loveable and funny personality and was loved by all that knew him. Friends and family will go on to remember him as a comedian, a fighter, and a great father. Our family is glad that Steve is finally at peace. We will be holding a drop in memorial at Forbis and Dick’s North Elm Chapel at 1118 North Elm Street Greensboro, North Carolina 27401 from 2-4pm Saturday June 25th, 2022. There will be a small family gathering in Florence, South Carolina where Steve will be put to rest.
