Margaret R. Stewart

Margaret Elizabeth Roland Causey Stewart, February 15, 1932 - February 5, 2022 , Margaret passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022. She was a long¬term employee of MassMutual Insurance Company and a dedicated member of New Bessemer Baptist Church in McLeansville. She deeply loved her family and spending as much time with them as she could. Margaret enjoyed traveling and especially liked going on bus tours. She also loved square dancing and spent more than a decade dancing and traveling with her square dance group, The Single Squares. She had a heart for the Lord and was committed to helping multiple causes and charities or anyone who was in need. Margaret is preceded in death by husband Alva Stewart. She is survived by son Randy Causey of Greensboro, daughter Rebecca Causey of Greensboro, daughter Nancy Bolling (Steve) of Stokesdale, granddaughter Jessica Phill (Josh) of Stokesdale, and great grandchildren Sylas, Aidan, Stephen, and Berkeley. The family would like to thank Mrs. Rose Hill of The Hills and her staff Ms. Rae and Ms. Freda for their care, love, and support of Margaret. A memorial service to honor her life will be held on February 19 at 1:00 at New Bessemer Baptist Church 4115 Hines Chapel Rd, McLeansville, NC 27301 Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home is serving the Family.
