Mrs Jewel Rebecca "Becky" Pugh

August 7, 1943 - March 14, 2022

Jewel Rebecca “Becky” Wilson Pugh of Greensboro passed away on March 14, 2022, from her battle with lung cancer. She was 78 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Mac Pugh, her parents Clarence and Alberta Wilson; her sisters Lea Hood and Gloria Deese; Brothers Junior Wilson and Lonnie Wilson Born on August 07, 1943, Becky grew up in Johnston SC. Following her marriage to Larry in 1963, they raised their family of three daughters in Gibsonville, NC. Becky was a homemaker who also held several different jobs over the years. Becky was a fifty-Year member of Mt Pleasant United Methodist Church. She and her love Larry lived on Oak Island for five years. When Becky returned to Greensboro three years ago, she became a member of Mt Pisgah Church. Becky was passionate about many things- her husband, family, camping, dancing, cooking, playing games with her grandchildren and others, country music, and traveling throughout the U.S. from the mountains to the beach. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters; Janet Gould (Brian), Cindy Skipworth (Marc), Christie Manns (John); seven grandchildren; John (“Mackie”) Manns, David Skipworth, Jayson Manns, Meadow Skipworth, Chris Gould, Sage Skipworth, Justin Manns; one great granddaughter McKinley Skipworth; sisters Jeanette Bryan, Nellie Outz, Doris Bryan (Arnold), Debbie Adams (Richard); Brothers Sammy Wilson (Sarah), Jimmy Wilson (Jan); two special young ladies who are like family; Juli Jackson(John Manns Fiancée) and Darien Gaddy (David Skipworth’s Girlfriend). While Becky will be deeply missed, we know she is at peace and is now in her heavenly home with Larry. A memorial service will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday March 17, 2022, at Mt Pleasant United Methodist Church 5120 Burlington Rd, Greensboro, NC with Rev. Jeff Johnsen and Rev. Laura Primm officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family requests that memorials be made to Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church 2600 Pisgah Church Rd Greensboro, NC 27455 or to Hospice of the Piedmont (www.hospiceofthepiedmont.org). The family also wants to sincerely thank the numerous doctors, nurses, and staff that assisted her at Wesley Long and Moses Cone Hospitals as well as Beacon Place (Hospice) in Greensboro for taking such good care of Becky and providing her and the family peace and comfort during this difficult time.
