Jean Bowen Patat Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

WALKERTOWN – Jean Bowen Patat, age 88, of Greensboro, passed away on January 22, 2021 at the home of her daughter while being surrounded by her loving family. Jean was born in Robinson County to the late Hensley Bowen and Goldie Davis Bowen. She retired from J.P. Stevens after 34 years of continuous service as a scheduling administrator. In her spare time, Jean loved to spend time working in her garden, collecting favorite dolls, and reading. She was a member of Guilford Baptist Church where she made many friends. In addition to her parents, Jean is predeceased by her husband, Daniel “Danny” W. Patat, Jr., and her grandson, Daniel Martin. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Patricia Ann Martin and her husband Paul of Walkertown and Deborah Kay Patat of Greensboro; two grandsons, Paul Martin, Jr., and Joshua Martin; great grandson Asher Martin-Crow; brother, H.D. Bowen, Jr. and wife, Judy of Hope Mills and sister, Judy B. Morris and husband Robert of Spring Hill Florida. She is also survived by a special niece Paula Nishida and husband Randy of Hawaii, and several nieces and nephews. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Westminster Gardens.
