Goldie Rosella Carey Boger

COOLEEMEE—Mrs. Goldie Rosella Carey Boger, 62, of Center Street, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at her home. She was born on June 12, 1959, in Colchester, IL. Mrs. Boger served as General Manager at McDonald’s for many years and worked in various locations in Rowan and Davie counties. She lived a very simple life, was a hard worker, and made an impact on many lives. Goldie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woody Boger; and a sister, Joyce Cochran. Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Adams of the home; her grandchildren, Destinee Nunn and Dallas Nunn; a brother, Jim Carey (Missy); a niece, Venise Deal; and a nephew, James Cochran.
