Dr George Kiorpes

Dr. George Kiorpes, 90, of Greensboro, passed away on April 27, 2022, at Beacon Place. George was born September 25, 1931, in Yonkers, NY to Anthony and Georgia Kiorpes. He was a professor of music at UNCG as well as the choir director and organist at First Moravian Church in Greensboro. George is survived by his wife Suzanne Kiorpes and sons Michael Kiorpes and Geoffrey Kiorpes. A celebration of life will be held at First Moravian Church in July with more information forthcoming.
