MOCKSVILLE—Mrs. Emma Lily Reeves Tutterow, 90, formerly of Tutts Trail, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Davie Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 7, 1932, in Iredell County, to the late John Wright and Etta Mae Jackson Reeves. Mrs. Tutterow enjoyed working in her yard, flower gardens, and loved watching the birds. She was always friendly, loved everyone, and always had her family’s back no matter what. She absolutely loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband, Fred Warren Tutterow; and siblings, Robert Lester Reeves, Ollie Miller, Kathleen Griffin, Cora Etta Beck, and Donnie Ray Reeves. Survivors include her children, Barbara Hamby (Lonnie) of Salisbury, Ricky Tutterow (Cindy), and Kathy Tutterow, all of Mocksville; grandchildren, Tina Carmichael (James), Lonnie Hamby (Lisa), Emily Allen, Amy Wood (Jason), Brittany Tutterow, and Brandy Kicklighter; great-grandchildren, Dylan Carmichael, Coda Hamby, Jestine Wall, Aristotle Allen, Carter Allen, Shealeigh Sheets, and Phillip Shelton; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Carl Richard Reeves; and a special niece, Phyllis Burgess. A funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Eaton Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Darrell Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Legion Memorial Park in Cooleemee.
