Christopher Bryant Carter Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

ADVANCE—Mr. Christopher Bryant Carter, 52, of Dare Lane, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Mr. Carter was born on August 17, 1968, in Davie County, to Lewis and Bonnie Boger Carter. Chris was a longtime volunteer with Davie Little League, serving as both a coach and mentor to many young athletes. He was a very animated and energetic character while on the field. Chris will be remembered as a very loving husband and father, and avid supporter of his children. He was preceded in death by an older brother, Dennis Carter. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Cynthia “Cindy” Allen Carter, of the home; his three children, Colby Bryant Carter, Morgan Lee Carter, and Laurin Christian Carter; his beloved dog, Seagram; three siblings, Keith Carter, Dean Carter (Patsy), and Jeanette Carter; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tommy and Linda Allen; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Charlene Allen; and nephews, Charlie and Sawyer. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery, 2298 Enon Road, Oxford, NC 27565, with Rev. Steve Brown officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Eaton Funeral Home. Memorials may be considered for Davie County Humane Society, 1489 N. Main St., Ste. 101, Mocksville, NC 27028.
