Charles "Chuck" Jeter Wilkins, Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Charles “Chuck” Jeter Wilkins, Jr., 60, died Sunday, July 3, 2022 at his home in Greensboro, NC. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church. Chuck was born in Burlington, NC to Charles Jeter and Ann Matkins Wilkins. He graduated from Granville Senior High School and from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He was a member of Alpha Chapter of Sigma Chi at Miami. He was a Vice-President of Risk Management at Wells Fargo in Winston Salem, NC. Chuck enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He always looked forward to family vacations to Emerald Isle or the mountains. He had a good sense of humor and could always be counted on to show up at a celebration with a funny card. Chuck was pre-deceased by his wife, Camron Gardner Wilkins and his mother Ann Matkins Wilkins, and mother-in-law Camille Gardner. He is survived by his son, Charles “Charlie” Gardner Wilkins of Hickory, NC, father Charles Jeter Wilkins, Sr. of Greensboro, NC, sisters Carol Sineath (Tom) of Burlington, NC and Sandra Valinis (Michael) of Worthington, OH, father-in-law Dr W. Ronald Gardner of Hickory, NC, sister-in-law Lynn G. Curfman (Dean) of Morganton, NC, brother-in-law William R. Gardner, Jr.(Jennifer) and sister-in-law Kristin Dettelbach (Bobby), both of Hickory, NC, nieces, Charlotte Crone (Tim), Lindsey Rowe (Parker), and Rachel Walter (Stephen), Elizabeth C. Martin (John), Lane Marie Dettelbach; nephews, Stewart Sineath (Sarah), and Blake Cummings (Becky), William Creech (Lacey), Patrick Creech, Tate Dettelbach, and many very special great-nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund at Christ United Methodist Church, 410 N. Holden Rd, Greensboro, NC.
