Barbara Fogleman Nixon

November 30, 1936 - January 19, 2022

Barbara Fogleman Nixon, 85, passed away peacefully at her home on January 19, 2022 after a long illness. Barbara is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jerome Nixon of the home, son Tracy Nixon (Wife Nikki); son Kenneth Dale Nixon; two granddaughters and four great grandchildren; sisters Patsy Nelson and Bernice Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lucille Fogleman, two brothers and four sisters. Barbara attended Pleasant Garden Baptist Church and was a graduate of Pleasant Garden High School, class of 1955. She was retired from Air Products Chemical Company. Barbara loved her family, Southern Gospel and Bluegrass music, fishing, traveling and her dogs. Visitation services wIll be on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 5 to 7 pm at Forbis and Dick Funeral Service, 4801 Pleasant Garden Road. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 1:00pm at Forbis & Dick Pleasant Garden Chapel in Pleasant Garden. The family would like to thank Hospice of Greensboro and the many caregivers that cared for Barbara.
