Mrs. Airnette Tuttle Landreth, 87, passed away on Wednesday May 26, 2021 at Walnut Ridge Assisted Living in Walnut Cove. Mrs. Landreth’s funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 29 at Forbis & Dick – Stokesdale with Pastor Randy Jessup officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery at Palestine United Methodist Church. The family will greet friends beginning at 2 p.m. Mrs. Landreth was born on November 27, 1933 the daughter of the late Clarence and Madie Priddy Tuttle. She was a member of Walnut Cove Primitive Baptist Church. Airnette was a devoted and loving mother, caring for her son, Wesley at home for as long as her health and strength allowed. She loved trips to the beach, fishing, outings with family, Spinner Dominoes and BINGO. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Landreth, Sr., son Paul Wesley Landreth, Jr., daughter Kathy Fulk, sister Lorine Baker, and brother Clarence Tuttle, Jr. Surviving are her son Sherrill Landreth and his wife, Susan of Stokesdale; sisters Violet Lemons of Stokesdale and Saxon Burchett of Colfax; 2 grandsons Brandon Landreth (Alysn) and Christopher Landreth (Jeni); and 5 great grandchildren Luke Landreth, Ryan Landreth, Natalie Landreth, Owen Landreth, and Graysn Landreth. Memorial donations may be made to the Greensboro Cerebral Palsy Association, 3205 E. Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
