GREENSBORO-

Mrs. Sally Bennett McFarland, 94, of Greensboro, died Tuesday, July 21, 2010 at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale, NC.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Cemetery.
Sally was the daughter of Will and Vennie Bennett, one of fifteen children and was born on April 28, 1916.
She is survived by one daughter, Ronda Russell and husband Gerald; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Frances Marshall. She was predeceased by her husband, W. J. McFarland and a son, William C. “Bill” McFarland.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the Countryside Manor staff for their compassionate care given to Mrs. McFarland.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8pm at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Wallie Meisner, 2049 Pleasant Ridge Road, Greensboro, NC 27410.
