Facilities & Directions

Eaton Funeral Service has been serving our Davie County families for over 65 years. In March of 1951, N. Wayne Eaton and W. Leo Whitt purchased Walker Funeral Home in Mocksville from the late Harley S. Walker, who had operated the funeral home from the early 1920′s. Later that year, N. Wayne Eaton was joined by his father, Carl Eaton and uncle, H. R. Eaton, who then purchased the interest owned by Whitt. Later the three Eaton Family members purchased the Siler Funeral Homes on Maple Avenue in Mocksville. This funeral home was merged into the Eaton organization on North Main Street, at its current location. In July of 1992, N. Wayne Eaton retired and the firm was acquired by Forbis and Dick Funeral Service of Greensboro.

Nick Miller manages the funeral home and is a native of Davie County. The funeral home continues to have a strong presence in the community, while providing support for many local events, charitable organizations, and other community outreach programs throughout Davie County. The funeral home staff is proud to provide local service with care and compassion to our friends throughout Davie and surrounding counties. Our helpful staff is always available to answer any questions or concerns that a family may have.
